Using this site
This site carries general information about foundation repair in Acadiana. Submitting the form creates no contract; none exists until a written scope has been signed by both parties.
Regional information, not a property assessment
Soil descriptions, permeability figures and horizon depths describe mapped series across a survey area. Soil surveys map areas at a published scale; they do not establish conditions beneath any individual parcel, which is why we auger on site. Nothing here assesses your property.
We are not engineers
We are a foundation repair contractor. We do not issue structural or geotechnical engineering reports, perform soil borings, or certify structures. Hand augering to inspect the upper soil profile is not a geotechnical investigation and is not presented as one.
We are not plumbers or pest controllers
Plumbing testing and repair belong to a licensed plumber. Identification and treatment of insect infestation belong to a licensed pest control operator. We repair damaged structural timber and we refer both of those out rather than working around them.
Licensing
Louisiana licenses contractors through the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. Verify any company, including this one, on the board's own register before work begins.
Pricing
Ranges are typical and are not quotations. A price is issued only in a written scope following an on-site visit, and pier costs depend on a depth to refusal not known before installation.
